Mohali CA boys canter to 103-run victory
CHANDIGARH: Mohali Cricket Association (MCA) defeated APJ School, Kharar, by 103 runs in the fourth Professional Gold Cup Cricket Tournament for under-12 being organised by Professional Cricket Club at Banyan Tree School, Sector 48, on Monday.
Batting first, MCA innings was propped by half centuries from Khushlin and Tushar.
Both played sensibly to help MCA reach a good total of 175 for the loss of four wickets in 25 overs. Khushlin was the top scorer making 69 runs of 65 balls, while Tushar scored 61 runs of 62 balls.
For APJ, Aakash was the pick of the bowlers taking three wickets for 17 runs.
Chasing, APJ team were bundled out for 72 runs in 18 overs.
Aakash top scored for the team making 18 runs of 25 balls, while Jaskaran scored 12 runs of 27 balls. Jasan was the pick of the bowlers for the winners. He took three wickets for 17 runs. Tushar took two wickets for 23 runs.
