Mohali CA boys can­ter to 103-run vic­tory

CHANDI­GARH: Mohali Cricket As­so­ci­a­tion (MCA) de­feated APJ School, Kharar, by 103 runs in the fourth Pro­fes­sional Gold Cup Cricket Tour­na­ment for un­der-12 be­ing or­gan­ised by Pro­fes­sional Cricket Club at Banyan Tree School, Sec­tor 48, on Mon­day.

Bat­ting first, MCA in­nings was propped by half cen­turies from Khush­lin and Tushar.

Both played sen­si­bly to help MCA reach a good to­tal of 175 for the loss of four wick­ets in 25 overs. Khush­lin was the top scorer mak­ing 69 runs of 65 balls, while Tushar scored 61 runs of 62 balls.

For APJ, Aakash was the pick of the bowlers tak­ing three wick­ets for 17 runs.

Chas­ing, APJ team were bun­dled out for 72 runs in 18 overs.

Aakash top scored for the team mak­ing 18 runs of 25 balls, while Jaskaran scored 12 runs of 27 balls. Jasan was the pick of the bowlers for the win­ners. He took three wick­ets for 17 runs. Tushar took two wick­ets for 23 runs.
