RUP­NA­GAR: Stu­dents of Rayat In­ter­na­tional School, Shi­wa­lik Public School and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy here ex­celled in the Cen­tral Board of Sec­ondary Ex­am­i­na­tion (CBSE) Class-12 ex­am­i­na­tions, the re­sults of which were de­clared on Mon­day.

Alv­ina of Rayat School topped in Rup­na­gar and Sha­heed Bha­gat Singh Na­gar dis­tricts by scor­ing 94.4% marks in the med­i­cal stream. Ac­cord­ing to the prin­ci­pal 50% stu­dents of Rayat have the se­cured the first di­vi­sion. The prin­ci­pal con­grat­u­lated Alv­ina for her achieve­ment.

Sim­i­larly, stu­dents of Shi­wa­lik Public School have also fared well in the ex­am­i­na­tion. Ga­gan­preet Kaur stood first in the school in med­i­cal stream by scor­ing 93.4%, while Ka­mal­preet Kaur stood sec­ond by scor­ing 91.8%, and Jaspreet Kaur stood third by scor­ing 91.6%.

In the non -med­i­cal stream, Pranav Rai and Surbhi Saini stood first with 92.4% each, Jai Parkash stood sec­ond by scor­ing 91.4% while Rashim and Sat­want Kaur stood third scor­ing 88.6% marks.

In com­merce stream, Ab­hi­nav Oberoi stood first with 91. 4%, while Mahil Sharma stood sec­ond with 89.6%, and Tanika stood third with 87.8% marks. The over all re­sult of Shi­wa­lik School is 96.38%. Prin­ci­pal Baljit At­tri con­grat­u­lated the stu­dents for their out­stand­ing per­for­mance.

Sim­i­larly, stu­dents of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy also ex­celled in med­i­cal and non-med­i­cal streams. The over­all re­sult of academy has been 90%, with Aman­jot Kaur se­cur­ing the first po­si­tion in the school by scor­ing 88.2%.

Navki­ran bagged the sec­ond po­si­tion scor­ing 86.2% and Jaspreet Kaur bagged the third po­si­tion scor­ing 85%.

Di­rec­tor of the SAS Academy Sukhjin­der Singh and prin­ci­pal Rajan Cho­pra con­grat­u­lated the stu­dents, par­ents and the staff of the academy. "The credit for the mar­vel­lous re­sult goes to teach­ers, stu­dents and the par­ents,”he said.
