CHANDIGARH: Rotaract Club of MCM DAV College for Women donated a drinking water cooler along with a water filter to Jeevanmukt Nishulk Vidyalaya, a special school for the underprivileged in Jagatpura, Phase 11, SAS Nagar.

Club's counsellor Mridula Sharma along with the president Aastha Sharma, vice-president Navdeep Randhawa, joint secretary Srishti Jaju and treasurer Gayatri Anand were present besides the other members of the club.

Principal Puneet Bedi was highly appreciative of the spirit and zeal showcased by Rotaract Club members and insisted that opportunities of selfless social service are imperative in expediting the overall development of the students, thereby infusing in them the ability to consider and cater to the needs of fellow being, thus shaping them into dignified citizens and empathetic human beings.
