Hindu ac­tivists protests against Oh My God film screening ZI­RAKPUR: Ten­sion brewed up at Paras Down Town Square here when ac­tivists of All In­dia Hindu Su­rak­sha Samiti as­sem­bled to close down the show of the con­tro­ver­sial film ‘OMG’ (Oh My God) on Satur­day. Though po­lice told the ac­tivists that the film show was al­ready closed, yet they tore apart the posters of the film be­fore set­ting them afire. Samiti chair­man Ramesh Dutt al­leged that ob­jec­tion­able vo­cab­u­lary had been used against the Hindu re­li­gion in the film. He said they would not tol­er­ate it at any cost. He also al­leged that film ac­tor Ak­shay Ku­mar had en­acted some ob­jec­tion­able scenes in the film. Zi­rakpur sta­tion house of­fi­cer Trilochan Singh said the po­lice had al­ready made se­cu­rity ar­range­ments at the spot. Man who stabbed woman sent to 3-day po­lice cus­tody PANCHKULA: Kul­beer Singh who was nabbed by the po­lice on Fri­day for stab­bing Man­isha, 22, has been sent to three-day po­lice cus­tody. Singh had stabbed Man­isha on Thurs­day. She is un­der­go­ing treat­ment at PGIMER. Her con­di­tion is re­ported to be sta­ble now.
