SAS NA­GAR: Stu­dents of Shem­rock Se­nior Sec­ondary School won the Molly Cover Me­mo­rial Tour­na­ment that was held at St Stephen’s School, Sec­tor 45.

The fi­nal match was played be­tween TO­GAN, the team of St Stephen School and Shem­rock Cagers of Shem­rock School. The Shem­rock Cagers won the match by 43-41. The key player of the match, San­jay of Shem­rock School was con­ferred with the ‘Man of the Match’ prize.

At this moment prin­ci­pal, (Retd.) air com­man­der, SK Sharma, while con­grat­u­lat­ing the win­ning team said that sports ac­tiv­i­ties are im­por­tant for phys­i­cal and men­tal devel­op­ment of the kids. QUEST GROUP OF IN­STI­TU­TIONS JOINS HANDS WITH IN­DUS­TRY

The Quest Group of In­sti­tu­tions joined hands with more than 20 in­dus­tries. The pri­mary fo­cus of the al­liance was to en­hance the scope for cam­pus place­ment for en­gi­neer­ing and man­age­ment stu­dents so that they could be trained for in­tern­ship, in­dus­trial readi­ness and im­prove their pro­fes­sional com­pe­ten­cies.

Group chair­man DS Sekhon said: “A mem­o­ran­dum of un­der­stand­ing has been signed to en­cour­age in­ter­ac­tion be­tween the in­sti­tute and in­dus­tries and to start train­ing pro­grammes for stu­dentson­corec­om­pe­ten­cy­de­vel­op­ment on em­ploy­ment av­enues.”
