Municipal corporation should frame concrete resolutions

Hindustan Times (Chandigarh) - Live - - OPINION/EDUCATION -

New Year’s Eve has always been a time for retrospection. I know that some working habits of the municipal corporation are hard to change. But officers and new mayor should bring in new promises while confirming a change. Although the municipal corporation makes New Year resolutions at the beginning of every New Year but it’s done mostly out of custom than actual planning. Also, elected representatives should spare much thought to frame resolutions. Sanitation, engineers’ employment, dog menace, multilevel parking, water issues and Mahila Bhawan are some of the major issues, which the councillors of the Corporation should look into.
