IOC to give elec­tron­i­cally gen­er­ated fuel bill to cus­tomers

CHANDIGARH: In­dian Oil has started a scheme in city, wherein cus­tomers will get elec­tron­i­cally gen­er­ated fuel bill for re­fill­ing petrol and diesel at its petrol pumps in city.

Di­rec­tor, mar­ket­ing, In­dian Oil Cor­po­ra­tion Limited, M Nene said that under the scheme, no print no de­liv­ery, an elec­tron­i­cally-gen­er­ated fu­elling bill would be given to cus­tomers.

"If the print is not taken out from the dis­penser, the next de­liv­ery to a new cus­tomer can­not be un­der­taken," he said, adding that this fea­ture would fur­ther en­hance cus­tomer sat­is­fac­tion, en­sur­ing cor­rect de­liv­ery and sat­is­fac­tion for each and ev­ery de­liv­ery.

The com­pany has started this fa­cil­ity on 11 out of 20 petrol pumps in city.

The com­pany has made it manda­tory to give elec­tron­i­cally gen­er­ated bill on four wheel­ers, but for 2-3 wheel­ers it would be op­tional.
