STRUGGLING TO STAY AFLOAT

I recently stopped for refreshments at the floating restaurant on Sirhind canal in Fatehgarh Sahib district. Inaugurated by then chief minister Giani Zail Singh on June 22, 1976, the restaurant is in a state of neglect today. A flyover constructed in front of it has made it even more difficult for the travellers to notice it.
