Speeding car kills two on pavement

NEW DELHI Two people died and two others sustained severe injuries after they were mowed down by a speeding car that lost control and climbed a pavement near north Delhi’s Kashmere Gate on Saturday.According to the police, the Etios car being driven by a guest teacher in a government school, climbed the pavement under a bridge while going from Rajghat to ISBT and hit the four men who were resting there. The dead have not been identified yet. The other two — Arshad and Deepak — have been hospitalised and are undergoing treatment.
