1 dies as drug addicts escape rehab centre

HALDWANI: A drug addict was killed under mysterious circumstances when he along with 12 others tried to escape from a rehabilitation centre in Haldwani on Friday night. Thirteen people ran away from the centre and Tareef Ibrahim of Bareilly was killed in the process, SSP Nainital Janmejay Khanduri said. “It is being investigated whether it is a murder or an accidental death,” he said.
