CHAUTALA REJIGS INLD’S DISTRICT, URBAN UNITS

CHANDIGARH: Former Haryana chief minister and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) supremo Om Prakash Chautala, who is out on a three-week furlough from the Tihar jail, on Sunday effected a major organisati­onal reshuffle in the party’s district and urban units.

An INLD spokespers­on said the party president has appointed Ferozepur Jhirka MLA Naseem Ahmed as district president of Mewat and Hemraj Jaglan.as district president of Panipat.

The party chief also replaced a large number of leaders heading the party in assembly constituen­cies and towns.

Chautala will address a number of public meetings during a statewide tour, beginning Monday.
