Three held for firing at liquor contractor in Karnal

KARNAL: Three people were arrested for opening fire at a liquor contractor of Karnal, police said on Monday. Accused Jugnu, Deepu and Amit were caught with two countrymade pistols, 11 live cartridges and an SUV. Karnal SP Surinder Singh Bhoria said the trio and the victim, Sanjay Rana, were business partners, but their ties soured. On June 19, Jugnu and Deepu opened fire at Rana.
