7-MEMBER PANEL FORMED TO EXAMINE CHANDIGARH MC’S FINANCIAL SITUATION

CHANDIGARH: As per the decision taken in the general house meeting held on June 29, a seven-member committee has been set up to examine the financial situation of Chandigarh municipal corporation. The panel set up by mayor will suggest ways to generate additional revenue for the MC. The committee comprises councillors Arun Sood, Davesh Moudgil, Anil Kumar Dubey, Rajesh Kalia, Satish Kainth, and two officials — Gulshan Mehta, chief accounts officer, and Anil Kumar Garg, additional commissioner.
