Indian women’s team pulls out of England tour

MUMBAI: The Indian women’s cricket team will be unable to participate in the ODI tri-series scheduled in England in September. With no clarity on when commercial flights will resume, BCCI is not in a position to fly the team out before time to train for competition. The Indian team has been in lockdown for the past four months after finishing runners-up in the T20 World Cup. In India’s absence, the tri-series will now be converted into a bilateral competition between England and South Africa.
