Priyanka vacates govt bungalow
NEW DELHI: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra vacated her government-allocated Lodhi Estate house on Thursday, a day before the deadline for the eviction notice issued by the ministry of housing and urban affairs.
Gandhi on July 1 was asked to vacate her bungalow 35 Lodhi Estate house in Delhi within a month on the ground that she is ineligible for the entitlement, as she no longer enjoys the security cover of the SPG. She will be residing in a temporary accommodation until a more permanent accommodation in Delhi rented by her is ready for use, Congress said in a statement.
SONIA GANDHI ADMITTED FOR TEST
Congress president Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Thursday for routine tests, hospital authorities said. She was admitted to the private facility here at 7 pm for “routine tests and investigations”, the hos- pital said in a health bulletin.htc
