PREZ XI CRITIC OUSTED FROM CHINA’S CPC
BEIJING: China’s ruling Communist Party (CPC) has expelled a staunch critic of President Xi Jinping, who has accused the leader of “provoking” conflict with India and other countries to divert the attention of the public from domestic, economic and social tensions. Cai Xia, a former professor at the Central Party School, in an interview to the UK’S Guardian newspaper in June, had said Xi was provoking conflict between China and India besides encouraging anti-us sentiment to consolidate his own position.
