ELDERLY’S HARASSMENT : WOMEN PANEL NOTICE TO SP

ROHTAK: The Haryana state women commission for women on Saturday sent a notice to the Sonepat superintendent of police after a video showing an 82-yearold elderly woman being assaulted and harassed by her daughter-in-law went viral on social media. Acting commission chairman Preeti Bhardwaj sent a notice to the Sonepat SP Jashandeep Randhawa and asked him to book an auxiliary nurse midwife. “I urge you to provide action taken report within three days,” she added.
