Queen Mary’s, Ro­hini prin­ci­pal wins awards

Nalini An­drew, prin­ci­pal, Queen Mary's School, Ro­hini, re­ceived two pres­ti­gious awards on Teacher’s Day this year. An­drew re­ceived the 27th Dr S Rad­hakr­ish­nan Sm­riti Rashtriya Shik­shak Sam­man 2011 in Delhi. The win­ners rep­re­sented states such as Ut­tar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Ra­jasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi. They were from MCD schools, NDMC schools, Ken­driya Vidyalayas, aided and other pub­lic schools un­der the Delhi govern­ment, Univer­sity of Delhi, Guru Gobind Singh In­draprastha Univer­sity and about 10 pro­fes­sors from var­i­ous med­i­cal col­leges in In­dia. An­drew also won the Teacher’s State Award 2011 from the Fed­er­a­tion of Pub­lic Schools, Delhi.
