Experts from Yale and other varsities to speak at art fair
Experts from different educational institutions are expected to speak at the India Art Fair’s fifth edition, scheduled to be held from February 1 to 3, 2013, in New Delhi. The main component of the educational programme at the event, which is India’s modern and contemporary art fair, is the Speakers’ Forum. The forum includes a series of topical seminars and conversations that bring together a panel of experts from the art world to discuss key issues pertaining to art in the region and at the global level. Robert Storr, dean, Yale School of Art; TJ Demos, reader, modern and contemporary art, University College London, Patrick D Flores, professor of art studies at the department of art studies, University of the Philippines; Parul Dave Mukherji, dean, School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, will be part of the The result of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2012 is due out on January 9, 2013, the Indian Institutes of Management, and Prometric, which administers the test, announced. Candidates will be able to log on to IIMs’ portal via the CAT website www.catiim.in from January 9 to know their results. Candidates will be required to enter their CAT registration number and email address to access the site. The authorities have advised candidates to keep a printed copy of their results. CAT 2012 results will be accessible till December 31, 2013.
“Although we took added precautions, we anticipate a slightly heavier traffic on the first day and candidates are advised to be patient and not rush to retrieve their results. They may try again later if they find the site to be slow,” said SSS Kumar, CAT 2012 convenor.
