BJP leaders said that the government was misguiding the people of Delhi by not raising issues that mattered.

“The session of the Assembly, which concluded on Wednesday, establishes that the AAP government does not believe in democratic institutions and constitutional provisions,” leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta told mediapersons. Gupta, a BJP MLA, was referring to the fourday special session called by the AAP government to discuss issues, including regularisation of guest teachers, Metro fare hike and Departmental Related Standing Committees (DRSC).

The Assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution to look into the legality of a message by L-G Anil Baijal over the DRSCS.

“The powers and rights of the L-G were presented in a distorted manner by the deputy CM. This is disobedience of the L-G’S order and we condemn it,” Gupta said.
