MUM­BAI: The pros­e­cu­tion on Tues­day brought 26/11 ter­ror at­tack han­dler Abu Jundal’s Pak­istani pass­port and na­tional iden­tity cards to prove his con­nec­tion with the neigh­bour­ing coun­try. The pass­port, which was is­sued in the name of Riyakat Ali, and na­tional iden­tity cards, one in Urdu and one in English, were re­cov­ered from Jundal at the time of his ar­rest in May 2013. The pros­e­cu­tion has been re­ly­ing on these three doc­u­ments to prove Jundal’s links in Pak­istan. The pass­port was is­sued in the name of Riyakat Ali on Fe­bru­ary 28, 2009. The na­tional iden­tity cards wer is­sued in the same name on Fe­bru­ary 24, 2011. Fur­ther, the doc­u­ments also re­flect that Jundal trav­elled out of Pak­istan on sev­eral oc­ca­sions us­ing fake iden­tity.
