Domestic help hangs self in Kalindi Colony
NEWDELHI: A girl, who worked as a domestic help, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in southeast Delhi’s Kalindi Colony on Wednesday morning.
Deputy commissioner of police (southeast) Chinmoy Biswal said that the age of the girl is being verified. No suicide note was recovered from her.
A PCR call was received at New Friends Colony police station regarding the incident around 12.38 am on Wednesday morning. “Police reached the spot and found the woman, Anisha, who worked as a domestic help in one Rakesh Pahwa’s family since January 24, had killed herself by hanging from a railing. She was from Jharkhand,” said Biswal.
