Do­mes­tic help hangs self in Kalindi Colony

NEWDELHI: A girl, who worked as a do­mes­tic help, al­legedly com­mit­ted sui­cide by hang­ing her­self in south­east Delhi’s Kalindi Colony on Wed­nes­day morn­ing.

Deputy com­mis­sioner of po­lice (south­east) Chin­moy Biswal said that the age of the girl is be­ing ver­i­fied. No sui­cide note was re­cov­ered from her.

A PCR call was re­ceived at New Friends Colony po­lice sta­tion re­gard­ing the in­ci­dent around 12.38 am on Wed­nes­day morn­ing. “Po­lice reached the spot and found the woman, Anisha, who worked as a do­mes­tic help in one Rakesh Pahwa’s fam­ily since Jan­uary 24, had killed her­self by hang­ing from a rail­ing. She was from Jhark­hand,” said Biswal.
