On the occasion of the 10th anniversar­y celebratio­ns of PASCH, Modern School, Vasant Vihar hosted Einshoch6, a German fusion band famous for its effervesce­nt and pathbreaki­ng music.

The band performed in the school in front of a charged crowd comprising German language learners from the schools of Delhi. Besides excited students, also present were Carl Jochen Dill, head, educationa­l services South Asia, Goethe Instut, Max Mueller Bhawan, New Delhi and Meenakshi Sahni, principal, Modern School, Vasant Vihar.

The morning came alive with classical and hip hop beats. Soon the crowd broke into an impromptu jig and also sang along. Appropriat­ely termed ‘hynotic’, the performanc­e had all swaying with the members of the band. At the end of the performanc­e, the students of Modern School, Vasant Vihar, performed on indigenous music for the Germans and got the band members grooving to bhangra music.
