An award to re­ward the best in the lux­ury hotel business

Tri­dent, Gurgaon has won the Na­tional Tourism Award for the Best Hotel in the 5-Star Cat­e­gory

Re­cently, at a glit­ter­ing cer­e­mony, Tri­dent, Gurgaon won the Na­tional Tourism Award for the Best Hotel in the five-star cat­e­gory. The cer­e­mony was at­tended by the Pres­i­dent of In­dia, Ram Nath Kovind and Min­is­ter of State (IC) for Tourism, K.J. Alphons. In­sti­tuted by the Min­istry of Tourism, Gov­ern­ment of In­dia. The Na­tional Tourism Awards are the most cov­eted awards in the travel and tourism in­dus­try in In­dia.

On the oc­ca­sion, Tri­dent, Gurgaon, Gen­eral Man­ager Amitabh Rai, said, “It is a mat­ter of great priv­i­lege and hon­our to re­ceive this pres­ti­gious ac­co­lade. The award re­flects the hotel’s com­mit­ment to qual­ity and the un­wa­ver­ing ded­i­ca­tion of our peo­ple to­wards en­sur­ing guest de­light.”

The hotel, which opened in Jan­uary 2004, re­de­fines the city hotel ex­pe­ri­ence with nat­u­ral el­e­ments and the lux­ury of space, water and light into its de­sign. Spread across seven sprawl­ing acres, the hotel fea­tures 129 wellap­pointed rooms, six Ex­ec­u­tive suites and a Pres­i­den­tial suite that lend a re­sort-like ex­pe­ri­ence even in the heart of bustling Gurgaon. The rooms are amongst the largest for city ho­tels around the world. The hotel has also been the re­cip­i­ent of ‘In­dia’s Lead­ing Business Hotel’ in 2017, 2016 and 2015 re­spec­tively along with be­ing recog­nised as ‘Asia’s Lead­ing Business Hotel’ in 2013 for five con­sec­u­tive years by World Travel Awards.
