Bringing bathroom into focus
Aglobal leader in the design and manufacture of kitchen and bath products, Kohler India’s newest campaign ‘Dream in Kohler’ seeks to innovatively bring the bathroom into focus as the centrepiece of the home.
The campaign involves a contest where consumers are asked to share their dream bathroom ideas by creating a mood board of their dream bathspace and sharing it on social media to garner votes. Based on the votes received and the aesthetic merit, 20 winners from across India will each be given a voucher worth `1,00,000 which can be redeemed from any Kohler store. Salil Sadanandan, president K&B Kohler Brand — South Asia and EMEA at Kohler Co. best encapsulates the idea behind this campaign, “The careful curation and personalisation of objects is what makes a house a home. Dream in Kohler is our endeavour to make the bathroom the centrepiece of the home. We invite you to create your dream look for this most personal of spaces — and we might just bring it to life for you.”
To communicate its message Kohler released three television commercials made in collaboration with Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT). Each film takes up relatable situations and links them to the importance of a bathroom as a place of refuge and relaxation, rather than merely as a device to promote Kohler products.
The campaign has received close to 9,000 entries and continues to see an enthusiastic response from all over the country.
In addition to the winners, five select entries would be chosen for a bathroom makeover by the top architects in the country. The contestants and their dream bathroom stories will be featured on a television show.
