BLACK ARMBAND FOR INDIAN SOLDIERS

The Indian men’s hockey team wore black armbands during their match against Pakistan at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Stadium on Sunday. Hockey India informed in a media release that the team was condoling the death of soldiers in the recent attacks on the Indian Army in Jammu & Kashmir. Star goalkeeper PR Sreejesh had dedicated the team’s victory at the 2016 Asian Champions Trophy, where they beat Pakistan in the final, to Indian soldiers.
