AAP ALLEGES SELECTIVE CRITICISM
NEWDELHI:The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday alleged selective criticism of its government in Delhi over rise in pollution levels when the problem was even worse in neighbouring towns — Ghaziabad Noida and Gurgaon.
AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj said the air quality index (AQI) of the three satellite towns was worse than Delhi but no one cornered BJP governments, which rule these states, but held Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government accountable for the bad air quality.
“All power for @LtGovDelhi, all accountability for @ArvindKejriwal. And No questions for @myogiadityanath,” AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj tweeted along with a box on AQI in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida and Gurgaon.
“When it comes to power, everything is controlled by the lieutenant governor. But when any problem arises, Arvind Kejriwal government is blamed,” he said.
