Virendra Tawade gets bail in Govind Pansare murder
KOLHAPUR: A court in Kolhapur on Tuesday granted bail to Virendra Tawade, an activist of Sanatan Sanstha and suspect in the murder of leftist leader Govind Pansare. Tawade, also a suspect in the murder of rationalist Narendra Dabholkar, will however continue to be in jail. The district and sessions judge, while granting bail to Tawade, asked him to surrender his passport and not step out of the state. The court also asked Tawade to remain present before the probe agency every Saturday.
