Students and teachers of this school believe in the joy of giving
Recently, The Paras World School India, Gurugram, initiated an activity to support underprivileged students. Books and stationery were collected from the school students and a few residential societies of Gurugram.
The idea was to provide supplies to children who can’t afford to buy books, and other educational necessities. Students from Paras World School visited BAAGIA-The SANSHIL Foundation and Government Primary school to share the contribution collected by them. The books collected was a mix of reference books and text books and the children of BAAGIA were happy to receive them.
While sharing the contribution, the students learned the value of giving and truly celebrated the ‘Joy of Giving’. The smiles of joy and satisfaction on the faces of the underprivileged students was priceless.
Yasmin Khan, principal The Paras World School India, said, “The ‘Joy of Giving’ adds to our happiness’. We begin this early with our children to ensure that each child contributes to usher in a long-lasting change by sincerely taking on their social responsibility. Our endeavour is to give them ample opportunities wherein they can connect with the less privileged children, to feel this joy.
