Don’t skip exercise during festivities
It can seem tough to stick to a fitness routine during the festive season. But if you are not careful, you may end up piling on weight. Here are a few things to do to stay fit while celebrating:
■ Go for a walk: While you may not be able to stop yourself from indulging, it is a good idea to go for a walk afterwards. Even a quick 3040 minute walk can boost your digestion and metabolism.
■ Keep your workout routine short: You may not be able to stay at the gym for long, but even 20 minutes, twice a day, will be good.
■ Family activities: It sucks
to go to the gym alone during festive season, so why not get your family on board and exercised together? You can go swimming with family or play a sport together.
■ Set a time: You will have tons of excuses to skip exercise. So, better get it out of the way in the morning before others are up and you feel too lazy to step out.
