Defamation case: Kejriwal to appear in Amritsar court tomorrow
AMRITSAR: Aam Aam Aadmi Party convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal is expected to visit Amritsar on Thursday for a hearing in the defamation case filed by Punjab revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia. The hearing is on Friday. Kejriwal is likely to be accompanied by party colleagues Ashish Khetan and Sanjay Singh, who are also named in the case.
A police team from Amritsar had gone to New Delhi on Tuesday to serve summons on the AAP leaders, who confirmed that they will appear in the court.
Majithia had filed a defamation suit in May accusing AAP leaders of tarnishing his reputation by making false and malicious allegations.
