Police remand of 5 accused extended for one more day

ROHTAK: The two set of accused in Rohtak Dalit girl gangrape case -- three arrested on the allegations of the victim and two arrested by police on the basis of CCTV and call details -- were remanded by a local court in police custody for one more day on Wednesday.

DSP Pushpa Khatri said the police were interrogating the accused thoroughly to bring out all facts in the case before the court. The family of the victim also joined the investigation on Wednesday and gave its statements to the police. Earlier, the police had said that neither the victim nor her family was cooperating with the police in the investigations.
