BATHINDA BUS BLAZE: DEATH TOLL REACHES 5

BATHINDA: A person, who was injured when a private air conditioned bus caught fire in Rampura Phul town of Bathinda district on May 13, succumbed to injuries on Thursday, taking the death toll to five. The deceased, identified as 55-year-old Ranjit Singh of Tapa Mandi, died at Adesh Hospital in Bhucho Mandi early Thursday morning. Three persons were charred to death and 23 others had suffered burn injuries when a Rayia Transport Company’s bus travelling from Bathinda to Ludhiana caught fire at Rampura Phul railway crossing.
