Amritsar man held with opium in Rajasthan

JAIPUR: Three persons were arrested in Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan on Sunday for allegedly transporting 137 kg of opium in a truck laden with onions. The truck was coming from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. Upon search, cops found six sacks containing 137 kg “doda chura” in the vehicle. The accused include two men from MP and Pawan Pavitra Singh of Amritsar. They were on way to Pathankot.
