GOVT LAUNCHES APP FOR INFO ON ROAD CONDITIONS

Hindustan Times (Jalandhar) - - PUNJAB & HARYANA -

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has launched Harpath, GIS-enabled web-portal, along with an android based application, to improve the quality of roads through timely maintenance guided by the feedback from road users in the state. With the help of this app, people could give information to the government about the condition of the road. On receiving the information, the government would ensure the repair of roads and remove obstacles in the smooth flow of traffic if any, at the earliest. If concrete action is not taken on the feedback of the people in the prescribed time, responsibility would be fixed for the same, an official release said on Saturday.
