PU FACILITY MAKES SANITISATION UNIT

CHANDIGARH: Panjab University’s Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Facility has developed a UV sanitisation chamber for disinfecting paper and other articles. While two devices were donated to the vice-chancellor’s office on Monday, facility director GR Chaudhary said there are plans to donate it to the registrar and DUI offices as well. “We have coated it with a material that can reflect maximum amount of UV light, making it more effective,” he said.
