CONTRADICTORY DECISIONS

The Punjab government has taken contradictory decisions over the last two days. University and college exams in Punjab have been put off till July 15 due to the prevalent conditions but MD and MS examinations at Baba Farid University of Health Science (BFUHS), Faridkot, have started. Are the orders of the state government not binding on BFUHS? Buses have been allowed to ply at full capacity but gymnasiums have not been allowed to open. It appears, the government believes that students and people going to gymnasiums are at a higher risk of contracting Covid-19 than passengers packed in a bus.
