The captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, is all set to make an appearance on TV alongside actor Aamir Khan for a candid conversation on a special Diwali show.

Now, HT Café has learnt that during the shoot, Virat expressed a desire to watch the actor’s upcoming film, Secret Superstar.

A source says, “In fact, Virat joked that Sachin Tendulkar is always the first one to catch Aamir’s movies, and that this time, the actor should make an exception and let Virat watch the film before Sachin.”

Aamir and Sachin are known to be close friends, and Sachin has attended special screenings of almost all of Aamir’s films, including Dhoom: 3 (2013), PK (2014) and Dangal (2016).

“It’s not yet clear when Virat will watch the film, but Aamir has promised him that he will invite him for the screening soon,” says the source.

Sources added that since Virat is currently busy leading the Indian team in the T20 series against Australia (which ends on October 13), he would be able to attend the screening only after next Friday.

Both Aamir and Virat couldn’t be reached for a comment.
