BYJU’S, creator of personalised K-12 app in the country announced its arrival in UP with the launch of the ‘Student Connect Centre’ in Lucknow. Located in Lalbagh, this is the first BYJU’S ‘Student Connect Centre’ in the state and will help students and parents understand the effectiveness of learning programme and experience the personalised feature of the app. A team experts will be available to demonstrate the app at any student’s home on their request. Students and parents can call on 080-61257430 to schedule a session with an expert. With over 12 lakh students, Uttar Pradesh is one of the fastest growing regions in North India. Interestingly, smaller districts like Etawah, Ballia, Shamli are showing higher adoption rate as compared to the top performing cities like Lucknow, Allahabad and Ghaziabad, said Mrinal Mohit, chief operating officer at the centre. He said currently, 74% of the students on the app are from small towns and cities across India. The centre expects this number to double in the next on year. Given the high aspiration levels of students and issues like access to quality content and good teachers, more students are likely to adopt teach-enabled learning programmes.
