Hy­att Res­i­dency or­ga­nized a cake-mix­ing cer­e­mony at its ho­tel on Sun­day. The cake mix­ing cer­e­mony was done in pres­ence of some prom­i­nent Luc­knowites and ho­tel staff. They mixed var­i­ous dry fruits in dif­fer­ent types of liquors. In­gre­di­ents like cashew nuts, wal­nut, raisin, al­monds, blue berry and orange peel were mixed with the al­co­hol based drinks. Var­i­ous kinds of spices are also mixed in the ma­te­rial to give it bet­ter taste. These will now we kept for a month for fer­men­ta­tion and later Christ­mas cakes will be made, in­formed ho­tel’s head chef Man­vin­der. Ho­tel’s gen­eral man­ager Ku­mar Shob­han was also present on the oc­ca­sion.
