Dr Manjula Upadhyay is a gold medallist in post-graduation in economics from Lucknow University and is presently Associate Professor, department of economics in A P Sen Memorial Girls Degree College, Lucknow. She is also the President Trustee of Prof Sharda Prasad Tiwari Memorial Trust for social and academic causes. She has teaching experience of seventeen years and has actively participated in several social activities as programme officer of National Service Scheme. She has been socially connected and invited as judge, chief guest and keynote speaker at different academic and social platforms. She is a member of several academic bodies at national and state level, and has participated and presented papers in more than seventy five seminars,
symposium and conferences. She has to her credit more than thirty papers published in reputed national and international journals and written twenty seven units as course content, published as chapters in books pf Uttarakhand Open University. She has edited one book “Revisiting Economy of Permanance and Non Violent Social Order” and authored one book “Fiscal Imbalances and Process of Reforms” and also published souneris. She expresses her views on different economic and social issues in newspapers and TV talks.
