An­nual ‘Man­fest-Var­chasva’ fest to be­gin from Nov 21

IIM Lucknow an­nounced the launch of the in­sti­tute’s much awaited an­nual business, cul­tural and sports fest - Man­fest-Var­chasva 2014 with the launch of its web­site. The fest will be held from Novem­ber 21-23 on the IIM Lucknow cam­pus.

From this year, Man­fest and Var­chasva have merged into a sin­gle en­tity, cre­at­ing a vast can­vas of events and of­fer­ings cater­ing to all. The theme for Man­fest-Var­chasva 2014 is: “Quest for El Do­rado” with the in­tent to shift the fo­cus firmly on In­dia.

Man­age­ment events such as Snapdeal Next CEO, Voda­fone Ex­cel­sior, CI­PLA Strate­gica, World Gold Coun­cil Strat­struck, UP Tourism Travel Trails and L&T Fi­nesse among oth­ers are back with bet­ter for­mats and big­ger prize money. The cul­tural events are set to reach un­par­al­leled heights with Jashn, Hal­labol, An­tar­naad, Im­pe­rio, In­ferno, The Joust, Quiz Coli­seum and Stair­way to Hell al­ready re­ceiv­ing over­whelm­ing re­sponses from across the coun­try.

Lead­ers Ex­press will pro­vide ex­em­plars for stu­dents on the im­por­tance of cru­cial choices. So­cial im­pact ini­tia­tives in­clude Ya­jna, the Pan-In­dia CSR Chal­lenge, Prerna, the So­cial En­trepreneurs’ Fel­low­ship and the highly an­tic­i­pated Lucknow City Run which for this year pro­mul­gates the belief- “Run for a Greener To­mor­row”.

The fest is set to end on a high with elec­tri­fy­ing en­ter­tain­ment per­for­mances and an ar­ray of in­for­mal events and work­shops. It will see the best minds and the most tal­ented in­di­vid­u­als of the coun­try bat­tle it out for prizes and glory.
