More than 8 lakh people in 28 districts of Uttar Pradesh have been affected by the flood even as fresh spell of rain lashed many parts of the state on Friday. Ghazipur received 10.2 mm rainfall, Ballia 5.2 mm and Bulandshahr 12.4 mm.
