LU SETS UP CONTROL ROOM FOR JEE B ED CANDIDATES

After receiving complaints of anomalies from the candidates of JEE BEd 2017, the Lucknow University has set up a control room and helpline numbers that will remain functional between 9:30 am to 5 pm. The students can call university officials on these numbers to get their grievances redressed.

Earlier, the candidates had complained about some anomalies during counselling as they found the college option locked even before they could log in.

Now their registered mobile number shall be verified before sending the OTP information by control room executives.

“Most of candidates have activated Do Not Disturb (DND) service in their mobile numbers, so they are not getting the OTP from NIC web portal,” an LU official said. “They are required to check their DND status on the website www.dndcheck.in and deactivate it if is activated,” said Prof Naveen Khare, state coordinator, JEE BEd. 2017.
