UP GOVT ANNOUNCES DIWALI BONUS FOR EMPLOYEES

LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has announced Diwali bonus equivalent to 30 days salary to employees of state government, aided educational institutions and urban local bodies. An official spokesman said the decision would benefit about 8 lakh employees. An employee will get ₹6808 as adhoc bonus. The decision will cost ₹967 crore to the state exchequer.
