Over 67 lakh register for UP Board high school, inter exams

ALLAHABAD: Over 67 lakh students have registered for the 2018 high school and intermediate examination of UP Board which was 6 lakh more than 2017.

As per reports, post completion of registration, 67.02 lakh had registered for both the exams in 2018 as against 60.46 lakh in 2017 examinations, an increase by 6.56 lakh.

Sources said for high school, 37,12,508 students had got themselves registered including 35,89,141 as regular candidates and 1,14,367 as private.

Similarly, for intermediate, 29,89,975 had registered comprising 28,35,734 regular candidates and 1,54,241 private.

For 2017 UP Board examinations, 60,56,003 students were registered including 34,01,511 in high school and 26,54,492 in intermediate.

The schedule for the exams is expected to be declared in last week of this month or first week of November.
