Rohingyas should live in their country: Shahnawaz
VARANASI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said Rohingya Muslims should stay in their country. Hussain told reporters in Ghazipur on Tuesday, “India is not a dharmshala (lodge). Each country has the right to protect itself. We don’t tolerate intrusion of any sort.” He also said the issue had already died down. To a query, he said the BJP workers in Kerala were the victims of persecution. Shahnawaz was on his way to Ballia to attend a programme. He stopped in Ghazipur for about an hour and met party workers.
