2 cattle thieves held in Agra

AGRA: Two cattle thieves were arrested while four of their accomplices absconded after an encounter with cops from Malpura police station in Agra on Sunday night. SSP (Agra) Amit Pathak said police had got a tip-off about the movement of these criminals who planned to commit cattle theft from Siroli village under Malpura police station of Agra. “Police force from Malpura blocked the road when they saw a vehicle that attempted to flee by hitting the blockade and started firing at the police team. The cops retaliated by firing and nabbed two of the accused – Debu and Gatta alias Salim,” said Pathak.
