CM vis­its PGI to meet ail­ing chief secy

LUC­KNOW: Chief min­is­ter Yogi Adityanath vis­ited San­jay Gandhi Post Grad­u­ate In­sti­tute of Med­i­cal Sciences (SGPGIMS) on Wed­nes­day to meet chief sec­re­tary Ra­jive Ku­mar, who is hos­pi­talised here.

Ku­mar was ad­mit­ted af­ter he com­plained of high fever, sep­tic shock due to uri­nary tract in­fec­tion and some ail­ment in kid­ney on Sun­day. His ad­mis­sion was kept a closely guarded se­cret un­til the chief min­is­ter planned to visit the SGPGIMS.

Ac­cord­ing to pro­fes­sor Rakesh Kapoor, di­rec­tor, SGPGIMS, the con­di­tion of the chief sec­re­tary is im­prov­ing and he is ex­pected to be dis­charged on Sun­day.

The chief min­is­ter ar­rived

around 8.30 pm and spent an hour with the chief sec­re­tary. He also vis­ited some wards of the hos­pi­tal and met at­ten­dants of pa­tients.

Dr Kapoor said, “The chief min­is­ter ap­pre­ci­ated the doc­tors for their ded­i­ca­tion to­wards pa­tients and asked ev­ery­one to keep up the good work.”

The CM also asked the doc­tors to do more re­search work for the ben­e­fit of pa­tients.
