CM visits PGI to meet ailing chief secy
LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath visited Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) on Wednesday to meet chief secretary Rajive Kumar, who is hospitalised here.
Kumar was admitted after he complained of high fever, septic shock due to urinary tract infection and some ailment in kidney on Sunday. His admission was kept a closely guarded secret until the chief minister planned to visit the SGPGIMS.
According to professor Rakesh Kapoor, director, SGPGIMS, the condition of the chief secretary is improving and he is expected to be discharged on Sunday.
The chief minister arrived
around 8.30 pm and spent an hour with the chief secretary. He also visited some wards of the hospital and met attendants of patients.
Dr Kapoor said, “The chief minister appreciated the doctors for their dedication towards patients and asked everyone to keep up the good work.”

The CM also asked the doctors to do more research work for the benefit of patients.
