Grand al­liance of oppn par­ties needed to de­feat BJP: RLD chief

MUZAF­FAR­NA­GAR Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Ajit Singh ad­vo­cated the need for a grand al­liance among po­lit­i­cal par­ties to de­feat the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2019 par­lia­men­tary elec­tions.

“If all four op­po­si­tion par­ties come for the al­liance, BJP will lose all the seats in UP,” said Singh while speak­ing to the me­dia in Muzf­far­na­gar.

He said BJP had no roots in Ker­ala, West Ben­gal, Andhra Pradesh, Te­lan­gana, while the party re­ceived a big jolt in the Ra­jasthan by-elec­tions. And now

SINGH CON­DEMNS GOVT FOR ‘ANTI-FARMER POL­ICY’

In a press con­fer­ence held at PWD guest house, Ajit Singh strongly con­demned the Cen­tral govern­ment for its al­leged an­ti­farmer poli­cies.

He said be­fore com­ing to power in Cen­tre, BJP lead­ers had de­clared to im­ple­ment Sawami­nathan com­mit­tee re­port, but now the party has for­got­ten its prom­ise to farm­ers.
