Grand alliance of oppn parties needed to defeat BJP: RLD chief
MUZAFFARNAGAR Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Ajit Singh advocated the need for a grand alliance among political parties to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2019 parliamentary elections.
“If all four opposition parties come for the alliance, BJP will lose all the seats in UP,” said Singh while speaking to the media in Muzffarnagar.
He said BJP had no roots in Kerala, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, while the party received a big jolt in the Rajasthan by-elections. And now

in MP and Bihar, BJP would not retain its all seats in the coming elections, said Singh, adding that all opposition parties should now focus on the 80 seats of UP in the coming elections.
SINGH CONDEMNS GOVT FOR ‘ANTI-FARMER POLICY’
In a press conference held at PWD guest house, Ajit Singh strongly condemned the Central government for its alleged antifarmer policies.
He said before coming to power in Centre, BJP leaders had declared to implement Sawaminathan committee report, but now the party has forgotten its promise to farmers.
